As a licensed professional counselor, Alanna utilizes a multi-modal approach in therapy, and has specialized training and/or certification in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), which are all research based practices widely used in the treatment of trauma or PTSD. She has worked in the field of health and wellness for over 13 years and specializes in trauma treatment, integrative health, and brain-based interventions. Ashlie is also in a doctoral program to further her education on the neurophysiological underpinnings of various physical, cognitive, and emotional ailments, as well as explore and develop new approaches to achieving optimal mind-body wellness. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish and has diverse multicultural and international experience.
