Self care is a very important part of living a healthy and happy life. Often, it is seen as a luxury, and this is not the proper mindset regarding self care. It is much more important that we give credit. Self care has a different meaning for every person. There are many ways to take care of oneself, and what that looks like will depend on who the individual is. Every person has different needs, but those needs must be met. Relaxing and recharging are very important in keeping a mental and physical homeostasis within the human body. Working with the six Dimensions of Wellness will help you create better self care. -Cooking for yourself, nourish your body and mind with a healthy diet.
-Stay hydrated, drinking half of your body weight in ounces is recommended.
-Check in with your body and pay attention to the signals it gives you.
