April's Birth Stone is a Diamond

The diamond gemstone got its name from the Greek word adamastos and this means “to be invincible”. They are the hardest naturally occurring substance known to man. Greeks thought diamonds were tears of the gods, while Romans believed that they were splinters of falling stars. Diamonds are associated with love, commitment, health, and strength.
